FinCEN and the New GTO – Mid-Atlantic Update

Join us for a webinar covering important information on the new Geographic Targeting Order, (GTO) issued by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). This latest release announces an expansion of the GTO into new areas of the U.S., including Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The new order will dramatically impact the closing process for title agents and real estate attorneys in these jurisdictions.

The new GTO was issued on April 29 to all underwriters, their subsidiaries, and agents in several states across the U.S. and has an effective date of April 30 – October 26, 2022.
