MIAMI – May 1, 2024 – Doma Title Insurance, Inc. has appointed Sherry Bailey as agency manager for the state of Georgia. In this role, she will support agents’ and attorneys’ transactional efforts, as well as provide insight and expertise in business operations and marketing.
Bailey brings more than two decades of industry and marketing experience to her position. For a decade at the outset of her career, she served as an account executive for Indy Mac Bank and Charter One Bank, working with mortgage brokers across Georgia. Subsequently, Bailey worked for a title insurance company as an account executive. After shifting her career focus to marketing, she served as owner and digital marketing manager of Got To Media, and prior to that, she was founder and marketing operations manager at Enlightenment Capital Funding LLC.
“Sherry’s drive, evident from her entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional organizational skills, make her a rare find — a ‘unicorn’ capable of blending salesmanship with meticulous attention to detail, a crucial blend for her position with Doma,” said Marissa Vest, Assistant Vice President, Regional Agency Manager for Doma’s Southeast Region. “She brings a diverse background that will help her provide her agents with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that can be applied to their daily business challenges.”
Bailey studied communications at Kennesaw State University and is certified in Advanced Google Analytics, social media marketing and content marketing. She is a member of the American Land Title Association and Southeast Land Title Association (SLTA), and serves on SLTA’s Membership Committee.
“In supporting our agents, my approach is twofold: Providing knowledge and tools,” Bailey said. “I was attracted to Doma particularly due to its reputation for using advanced technology to simplify the title insurance process for agents and clients. This aligns perfectly with my belief in integrating digital solutions to improve business operations and customer experience.
“Drawing on my background in digital marketing and project management, I intend to introduce and consult on comprehensive digital strategies to boost our agents’ visibility and operational efficiency,” she added. “This includes enhancing their online presence, leveraging online marketing, and employing digital marketing techniques to keep them ahead of the curve.”
