NATIC launches NATIC University 2.0

MIAMI ̶ October 1, 2020 ̶ North American Title Insurance Co. (NATIC) has launched NATIC University 2.0 within its agent portal, delivering a widely revamped version of the company’s on-demand educational platform to its title agent network.
The learning management system (LMS) now offers a sleek, modern appearance with fluid pathways through courses for comfortable content consumption. In addition, several new states have been added for accreditation to NATIC University’s continuing education (CE) and continuing legal education (CLE) e-learning center. Title agents can take on-demand courses for CE credit for the states of Florida, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. CLE credit can be earned through NATIC University for the states of Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee.
The 2.0 version unveils the company’s NATIC Faculty, a speaker’s bureau-comparable in which title agents, land title associations and related industry associations and professionals can instantly request a speaker for an upcoming event. The NATIC Faculty program includes 21 subject matter experts offering a combined 82 topics covering a vast range of essential industry instruction. Visitors can access NATIC Faculty at https://naticu.com and fill out a short webform to select a topic or topics for which they seek a speaker. A NATIC associate will receive the request and promptly respond.
A unique Job Aids section has been added to NATIC University, with an initial offering of succinct, helpful tutorials on important agent functions for working with NATIC through the policy applications portion of AgentLink.
“NATIC University 2.0 consolidates our education programs and services into one web-based suite,” said Rich Griffin, NATIC’s senior vice president of agency. “The CE/CLE section has been reconfigured for seamless, uninterrupted navigation for agents taking courses, and each course is customized for the agent according to the individual Department of Insurance state requirements. For example, if a state does not require a test for on-demand CE accreditation, then the agent seeking credit in that state will not be required to take a test, even though another state might require it. These enhancements, along with video and communication improvements to our core CE and CLE modules, eliminates time and hassle for the agent.”
“NATIC is at the forefront of how industry members are consuming content,” said Emilio Fernandez, NATIC president. “NATIC University 2.0 offers NATIC agents an enriched virtual environment featuring on-demand courses for staff training, professional development, real estate transaction-based knowledge or CE/CLE accreditation. Recognizing the industry shift of agents needing more learning opportunities from the comfort of their desks, NATIC has rebuilt the course platform for scalability, allowing for more robust content releases.”
The LMS can be accessed from both desktop and mobile devices at https://naticu.com or through NATIC’s AgentLink portal. Anyone wishing to enroll in NATIC University must be a NATIC agent or associate and have login credentials to AgentLink. NATIC agents may contact a member of NATIC’s agency administration team at agencyadmin@natic.com or via telephone number (800) 374-8475 for access.
